About us

Hi - we are Urban Native Organics, the first dedicated Organic and Wholefoods shop to open in Finsbury Park, London.

Our symbol is the dandelion - a truly healing plant that thrives in both urban and wild places and which is native to this country.

So 12 years ago we seeded at Stroud Green Road and laid recycled wooden flooring, knocked down walls, and painted while under the influence of many organic espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes.

We took that coffee energy onto the ceiling too and made totally unnecessary art which has stood the test of time as the only ceiling art in an Organic Shop in the UK (and probably the universe).

When we finally finished both essential and off-the-wall efforts and had calmed down we realised that we had created something we loved.

We hope you love it too.

Our products are all selected for their quality and we use them ourselves.

We have many years experience in the health food and supplements industry and really do care about what we sell. We spend time researching new approaches to health and healing and we hope to be able to pass them on to you via products, books and articles. Not everything is applicable to everyone but it's so important to at least be aware of the alternatives so you can find the approach that suits you.

We hope that we can be a part of your journey to find the wellness that you, as a unique individual, are looking for.
